1. Basic FSSAI Registration
This is for small food businesses with an annual turnover of up to ???12 lakhs. It is generally applicable for small manufacturers, petty retailers, or small-scale food processors. The FBO needs to obtain a basic FSSAI registration by filling out Form A.
2. State FSSAI License
The State License is required for medium-sized food businesses with an annual turnover between ???12 lakhs and ???20 crores. This applies to businesses like small to medium-sized manufacturers, storage units, transporters, and distributors. It requires filling out Form B and is issued by the state authority.
3. Central FSSAI License
This is required for large food businesses with an annual turnover above ???20 crores or businesses involved in exporting, importing, or operating across multiple states. This license is issued by the central authority, and the application is done using Form B.
